Dashboard

The management console enables users to manage and utilize Tacnode's cloud products and services online. It also provides options to purchase and view Tacnode products and services.

Upon logging into your account on the official Tacnode website, tacnode.io (opens in a new tab), you will access the Tacnode management console.

The core functions of the management console include:

  • Summarizing essential information for daily operations and maintenance, such as urgent tasks, billing status, security and resource monitoring alerts, important notifications and announcements from Tacnode Technology, and product updates.
  • Managing Data Cloud instances across multiple clouds and regions, guiding them into a specific Data Cloud for Tacnode resource management.
  • Account management and preference settings.

Account Security

The left navigation bar on the management console's homepage leads to the account page. Use the Modify Account Password function to change your account password or the Change Mobile Number function to update your registered mobile phone number.

Resource Management

To purchase, configure, or delete Data Cloud, visit the Tacnode product page in the left navigation bar of the management console homepage.

Data Cloud allows users to independently manage computing, storage, networking, and permission resources. Features include Warehouse, database management, and data synchronization.

Users can establish one or more Data Cloud instances based on business requirements. Within a single instance, they can create various Warehouses, manage multiple databases, and perform numerous data synchronization tasks.

Membership Management

In Tacnode products, users and roles are distinct entities. Users primarily facilitate system login and identity verification, while roles govern platform permissions.

Users on the Tacnode platform must use their email to complete the account registration process. Once registered, this account can log in to the Tacnode platform or any associated database instance.

The Tacnode role is another account object linked to a specific permissions set. Currently, it is a default built-in object. When a user generates a resource instance on the Tacnode platform, the system automatically creates an associated role object for that resource. Users can effectively manage access control for the resource instance through the [Access Control] feature. Below is the list of roles available for management within the Tacnode system. You can configure the roles for each member account based on your management needs.

RoleEffectDescription
admin@{id}.contractsContract Role ManagementAuthority to manage the contract, including adding and removing users from roles associated with the contract and privileges associated with all other roles.
viewer@{id}.contractsContract SubscriberRead-only permissions concerning the Contract object.
dc_creator@{id}.contractsData Clouds ManagementEmpowered to create and eliminate Data Clouds objects and retains the permissions of the viewer role.
billing_admin@{id}.contractsBilling ManagementPermissions associated with the billing_viewer role.
billing_viewer@{id}.contractsBilling SubscriptionEntitled to subscribe to contract billing information and possesses the permissions of the viewer role.

Note: The naming convention for roles is ShortName@Resource, where ShortName refers to the role abbreviation and Resource indicates the resource locator. In a clearly defined context, the system ShortName displays role information in the specified format.
