Enterprise Account Executive
Sales Remote (US) Full-time
About the Role
Tacnode innovates at the cutting edge of Database, Data Lakehouse, and AI. We empower enterprises with real-time data infrastructure through the industry's first PostgreSQL with columnar storage scaled infinitely. As our first Enterprise Account Executive, you'll be the driving force behind our business growth in the US market. You'll focus on acquiring new enterprise customers where resourcefulness and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build lasting relationships will be key to your success.
What You'll Do
- Drive and exceed sales targets by developing and executing a business plan aligned with strategic growth objectives
- Be our frontline expert in understanding market needs and perform competitive landscape analysis
- Assess new accounts, develop strategies to identify and engage buying centers and key stakeholders
- Use a solution-based approach to building value—work closely with the SA team on tailored solutions and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Prepare compelling bidding materials and lead negotiations to achieve successful deal closures
- Oversee term discussions, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation in partnership with Legal
- Partner with technical delivery teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate full-cycle with R&D to channel customer feedback into product improvements and innovations
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a focus on cloud technologies or data solutions
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding enterprise sales targets in cloud solutions, big data analytics, or AI
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure including cloud servers, storage, networks, and security
- Well-versed in cloud database, big data, and AI products to influence customer stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated expertise in public cloud service operations or enterprise key account management
- Technical background in software development
- Experience selling to ML/AI teams or platform engineering
- Existing relationships with data engineering leaders
Compensation
$150,000 - $300,000 per year

Location
Tacnode is venture-backed and operates from offices in Seattle and the Bay Area. This position can be done 100% remotely.
